DLC Fastax Training Packages

Will you have this new designation? Registered Tax Return Preparer:

Although individuals may already have a provisional preparer tax identification number (PTIN) from the IRS, these individuals do not have to pass the exam until December 31, 2013. The examination may be taken at any time. You will have to determine which test site is best suited to your location.

The test will have approximately 120 questions incorporating a combination of
multiple choice/true and false formats. Questions will be valued differently, and individuals
will receive a pass or fail score with diagnostic feedback provided to those who
fail.

The test vendor, Prometric Inc. worked with the IRS and the tax preparer community
to develop this specialized exam. The time limit for the Registered Tax Return Preparer
Examination is expected to be between two and three hours. The test must be
taken at one of the roughly 260 Prometric facilities nationwide.

Again the fee, charged by Prometric to take the test is $116. Remember this fee is separate from the PTIN user fee. There is currently no limit on the number of times preparers can take the test but they must pay the fee each time.

THE ENROLLED AGENT EXAMINATION STUDY PROGRAM

What is an enrolled agent?

An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of practicing and representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents, like Attorneys and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), are exceptions to the rules governing which taxpayers they can represent, the types of tax matters they can handle, and the offices where they can practice.

The Enrolled Agent designation will prepare tax practitioners for a
concentrated career representing clients before the IRS with regard to
arbitrations, mediations, examinations, and payment plan agreements.

The following subject areas are included in the Enrolled Agent Review Program:

· Part I Individual Taxation
· Part II Taxation for Businesses
· Part III Representations, Practice, and Procedures

Register for all three parts before the month of August 2012 and receive a 22% discount. You are allowed take the examination in individual parts and in any sequence.

The fee for our three part program after discount is $699 or $299 for any individual part.

Our Enrolled Agent review program and registered tax return preparer courses are one of the very few programs whose curriculum is designed to be presented in a classroom setting or by video conference with the intent of preparing the tax practitioner for a very respected career as a tax professional.

The study materials consist of courses in taxation incorporating tax law, tax theory, tax preparation, and client representation. We also provide student/teacher one on one after class conferencing, email support, classroom lectures textbooks and IRS publications.
